What does GBC do?

GBC Members meet bi-weekly. Member meetings are valuable times that pump life into the GBC network.

This is where we:

  • interact across cultures
  • build relationships
  • and develop professional skills and global perspective

Some of what we do in our meetings:

  • Country presentations (culture, economics, politics, market trends, etc.)
  • Interview practice drills
  • Q&A with guest speakers from global companies
  • GBC announcements

GBC is also striving to impact the Baylor community through signature campus events. These include:

The "Going Global from Waco" Panel Discussion  - coffee & discussion with leaders of global companies based in Waco.

The "Global Issues Challenge" - a student-led pitch competition that challenges students to engage global business issues and sharpen their rhetorical skills. This event is part of the annual Global Business Forum hosted by the McBride Center for International Business.
